Where are you getting that data from John? Elmbridge website still says "counting"...
Thanks did not notice that! EBC results removed.
The Walton wards however are results.

To be fair I can't find a single ward which doesn't have a published result. But it still says "counting..." and hasn't confirmed NOC.

Too early to declare ‘squeaky bum’ time for little Dom come the next election? Certainly would seem to be for Rees Mogg in his constituency.

Very hard to separate out local elections from the national party situation. After all, a fish does rot from the head.

Try here?

Looks like 35-40% of people voted.

Very happy to see Racael Lake voted in (I would have voted for her whichever colour she wears) but in Walton North the turnout was something like 26.2%. Which is quite shameful really. When I went to vote at the Furrows yesterday there was a 90 year old woman, dressed to the nines on her Zimmer frame and someone from the care home nearby making enquiries for an elderly disabled man who was determined to vote. Turned out he needed to go to Esher Rugby Club. If they can be bothered why can't the other 74% who are most likely to be more able and probably younger be bothered also. It is their future after all.

Congratulations to: Mary Sheldon for keeping her Hersham Village Ward seat to Esher RA and Weybridge Independents for winning St.Georges Hill and Lib Dems for winning Weybridge Riverside
Ra/Lib Dems will form new Elmbridge Administration. Commiserations to those who stood but did not win

Well GetSurrey seem to think that an RA/Lib Dem coalition isn't necessarily a foregone conclusion (although I agree it is likely).

I agree it’s a highly likely outcome but will wait for a more ‘authoritative’ source to confirm it
