Raab fights on

Post by musicalteapot » Mon Oct 01, 2018 12:12 pm

I was amused by this bit of reporting on the BBC:
Mr Raab criticised the EU over its reaction to Theresa May's proposals at last month's summit in Salzburg.
"Our Prime Minister has been constructive and respectful," he said.
"In return we heard jibes from senior leaders, and we saw a starkly one-sided approach to negotiation."
It's almost as if he's unaware that when you say you are going to cancel your club membership, that it is not you who hold all the negotiating cards when you demand to use the facilities.

Bless.

I bet he gets a knighthood or companion of honour (taking the late Steven Hawkings 65th place - Osborne equivalent) for this cockup.

I bet he doesn't.

His latest trick seems to be to pose for photos at the local food bank, apparently devoid of any embarrassment that it's his party that has created the demand for food banks in the first place.

You couldn't make it up.

His latest trick blocking Victoria Derbyshire fm his twitter account!

She was adding his comments made in he run up to the last election which he has conveniently forgotten!!

She reminded him he had previously blamed the rising reliance on food banks on those who had a “cash flow problem”, insisting they were not “languishing in poverty”.
