Property developers are not bothered about people, only money.

Hi, I just love it when people cry foul of something thats really common sense, sure O&H should have made provision for pedestrians, we live in a society where people seem to to incapable of thinking for themselves and simply can't get by unless they are spoon fed health and safety and wrapped in cotton wool. Simply put if O&H made a mistake and blocked the sidewalk find somewhere else to cross, you don't have to walk on the road with the traffic like a load of mindless lemmings, maybe use the crossing and walk on the other side, maybe cut through the Heart Shopping Center, jeez its not rocket science "its not safe to walk on the road there .... DON'T DO IT" do people really need to be told this, its basic common sense.

Patch, I agree with your sentiment, but I think you should go and look for yourself.

I think it is very badly done, and a severe problem to older/invalided people - you would have to cross 4 sets of lights to travel a few yards .

Sorry, but I think it's a disgraceful diversion that should never have been allowed

Hi, sure I agree it should not be like that, but its only a problem if people make it one, people should find an alternate route and not be stupid and stubbornly cross where its clearly not safe. There are too many folks in this country that rely on others to do the thinking for them, people should take responsibility for there own actions and use there judgment and common sense.

I got caught out on this walking to Sainsbury's !

The pelican crossing there usually takes so long, I can walk down to the Zebra crossing and come back before the lights have changed . . .

I noticed on Saturday that it's now possible to "walk around the corner" again

Good stuff
