The Weir is a traditional pub with a restaurant and six en-suite rooms with views over the river Thames. A three-mile walk down the picturesque towpath sees you to the gates of Hampton Court Palace.

As well as a selection of lager, cider and Guinness, there's also a good selection of constantly changing real ales. The views over The Weir are very pleasant and the constant sound of rushing water make for a relaxing atmosphere.

The Noble Vine (formerly the Slug & Lettuce and The Vine) was renamed after a major refurbishment in March 2008.

The site is now owned by Foundation Inns PLC, a small idependent pub company that was formed in January 2007. The company currently has a number of pubs / pub restaurants across the South of England. The Swan, situated metres from the Thames, dates back to 1770 and was named after the ancient ceremony of Swan Upping which is performed on the Thames each July. The first written mention of The Swan occurs in 1770, when it appears on the Walter Leigh Manorial maps when it was then just a small alehouse.
