Sorry but this stores clamping policy leaves something to be desired. I was looking forward to Aldi opening but their manifest indifference to public sensitivity as displayed through the vicious clamping that has occurred in the last week is appalling. I hope the manager realises he has started a groundswell of locals against Aldi...

I think the only place you risk being clamped in Aldi is the staff car park, which is clearly signed is it not?

ALDI could easily have a Pay & Display like most other super-markets that have parking control! They choose not to as it is a money making scam!

I parked in Aldi and went over the time limit, I had intended to shop there and make it the last thing on my list, I got everything done around Walton, I usually park and shop in Sainsburys but thought I would give Aldi a chance, NEVER AGAIN will I shop in Aldi I have ended up with a ticket for £40.00 so much for making a saving, I will also let all my friends and coleauges know about it, Aldis loss Sainsburys gain. Whats wrong with a pay and display and how much of the fine goes to Aldi?
