From 5pm tonight, Walton town centre will be a hive of activity. The Heart Shopping Centre, Walton Business Group and the R C Sherriff Trust have joined forces to organise this year's Christmas event and with the whole town getting involved. It’s going to be even bigger and brighter than ever before.

Organised by the R C Sherriff Trust, around 350 people will take part in the lantern parade, lighting up the night sky with beautiful hand-made willow and tissue lanterns.
The Lantern Parade will end at 7.30pm, at Studio Plaza, where the Mayor will be joined by a special guest to switch on The Heart’s Christmas lights.
